It leaves from Sliema Ferries in the morning and runs north along Malta's coast to Mgarr Harbour on Gozo, where a bus is waiting — so unlike the cheaper ferry cruises, land transport on Gozo is part of what you are paying for.

For this cruise, please ensure you select the afternoon slot when applying for your pass. Kindly note that this is a government-mandated regulation and not a policy introduced by us. No refunds will be provided if you can't access the lagoon without a pass. It's the customer's responsibility to secure one.

Do I need a Blue Lagoon access pass?

Yes, to step ashore. Since 1 May 2025 everyone landing at the Blue Lagoon needs a Malta Access Management System pass, booked free at blcomino.com for one of three daily slots. It costs nothing but it is not part of this ticket and is checked at the jetty, so book it yourself before you travel. You can still swim from the boat without one.

Is transport on Gozo included?

Yes, and it is the main thing separating this from a plain ferry cruise. A sightseeing bus meets the boat at Mgarr, makes a photo stop, and takes you to Victoria for around 75 minutes of free time before returning.
