This one runs the day backwards, and that is the point. You leave Malta around 12:15pm, travel to Comino by land and sea, and get two hours there before the boat carries you on to Gozo at roughly 4:15pm. The UTV tour then runs until about 9pm, which puts you on Gozo's west-facing coast exactly when the light is worth having.

The drivers are multilingual and the vehicles are built for comfort rather than speed, so the tour is as workable for a family as for a couple. The route takes in several villages and the coastline, with the stops chosen for what the hour does to them rather than for ticking off the island's full checklist.

We booked this tour as a group of 4. It was fantastic from start to finish. The pick up and drop off near our hotel was very convenient and easy. The boat to the blue lagoon was fantastic, with great music and amazing views! We felt like it was a perfect amount of time in the blue lagoon (enough time for a swim, and the famous pineapple cocktails!) Once we arrived in Gozo, we were greeted by the amazing UTV crew. Our driver was Hendrick and he made our experience unforgettable. He took us to anywhere we wanted to go and made the trip unique to our interests. We visited the beach, churches and some amazing lookout spots ( I recommend the blue hole). His knowledge of the island was brilliant. The Mediterranean platter was very tasty and the perfect way to finish off the day.
