Malta: Gozo 4x4 UTV Jeep Tour with Comino Mini Cruise

About This Experience

A UTV is the middle ground between a jeep and a quad: open-sided and far more fun than a minibus, but with a driver at the wheel and up to five forward-facing seats, so nobody in your group needs a licence or has to concentrate. On this tour the vehicles are chauffeur-driven the whole day.

You are collected from your hotel or a nearby meeting point in Malta, and the crossing is made on a private boat reserved for the operator's guests when conditions allow, falling back to the Gozo Channel ferry when they do not. On the island the UTV works through villages, valleys and back roads toward the landmarks and the viewpoints, with multilingual storytellers stationed at each stop rather than a single guide talking over an engine.

Light lunch with a glass of local wine or mineral water is included. The day also carries a mini cruise around Comino and, in summer, a swim stop in one of its lagoons — the operator is explicit that the cruise is a complimentary addition, so if the weather removes it there is no refund for that portion. Book it because you want the UTV; treat Comino as the upside.

Good to Know & Caveats

• The time shown on the website or on your ticket is the approximate start time of the activity and not the time when you will be picked up from your hotel (or closest meeting point). At least a few days before the date of your activity, you need to make sure to contact the tour operator to confirm your pick-up location and pick-up time.
• The mini cruise around the island of Comino is being offered as a complimentary added value to the package; therefore, if, due to adverse weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances, the mini cruise cannot be done on the day of your tour, no refunds will be given to any guests.
• Guests residing in Gozo who wish to enjoy the mini cruise must make their own way to their accommodation once the boat berths in Gozo.
• While driving, the default language might be English; however, at each stop, customers can approach the tour leader speaking their language for more thorough explanations.
• Our UTVs can carry a maximum of five passengers.
