It leaves from the Bugibba jetty and runs roughly six to seven hours depending on the season.

The route works along Malta's northern coast past cliffs, coves and the sea caves that can only be reached by boat, and passes St Paul's Island with its statue of the apostle. You get swimming time at the Blue Lagoon, a photo stop at the Crystal Lagoon, the Santa Maria caves and the Elephant's Head rock formation, and three to four hours ashore on Gozo. The order varies — some days the Blue Lagoon comes first, some days Gozo does.

Understand what the Gozo portion is and is not. Land transport on Gozo is an optional extra selected at checkout; without it you are on foot near Mgarr Harbour rather than touring the island. If seeing the Citadel, Dwejra and Ta' Pinu is the point of your day, a land tour is the better buy and this is the better second day.
